AFCEA Sofia Chapter as AFCEA International member is established with a main sphere of interest to C4IR in Defense and since 1993 has organized tens of international, regional and national events in collaboration with defense and security authorities and participation of leading international companies.
HOMELAND SECURITY
Several conferences and roun tables of AFCEA Sofia Chapter were focused on Homeland security in different aspects and problems: border security, maritime security, EU Shengen requirements, Cyber security and organized crime.
DEFENSE
In 2003-2004 our Chapter has enhanced its activity, covering the whole armament and equipment for Bulgarian Army. In such a way Association meets the current needs. Many of our events were dedicated to Bulgaria’s NATO membership, chalanges and cappatibility of armaments, equipment and procedures.
